OGrand Rapids MN has a great family run inn located on 169 just south of down town. The cedar Resturant is great great steaks to salads when you stay you get a free beverage at the bar when you eat   Hotel prices start at 59.00 standard room pool hot tub and a sauna. Older style hotel but clean and comfy  Pool side rooms not much more.  Sit down breakfast is included in your stay.  

I had the French onion soup a hardy style soup with a thick broth comes with 2 fresh hot pop overs. Desert was bread pudding with ice cream half order enough for 2. Don't drive by the sawmill inn worth the stay
